Colin James hosts the ‘DVD-cast’ and this is the only part in colour. The remainder of the programme is in black and white, as was the go in 1966. He introduces the great Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon and James Cotton in rare performances, amongst others. Oddly, as Mr. James points out, Maybelle Hillery was the only female artist invited to join this set of . The programme offers an interesting perspective and has a feel of a night of the blues in a Chicago nightclub.
