Beaux Dupuis (Johnathon Schaech) and his mentally handicapped brother, Pemon (Frederick Koehler), live on a houseboat in the bayou and run a bait shop. But their lives are thrown into turmoil when Pemon is falsely accused of a crime and tossed in jail. To set things straight, Beaux must go up against bitter local deputy Carl Lebauve (Jeremy Davidson), who happens to be married to Beaux's one true love, Mary-Louise (Tamara Braun).
