Quincy Pictures has launched with ',' a sci-fi thriller short with a trio of Oscar-nominated crew members. 'Sentient,' directed by Gabriel Scott from his own script, has more than 80 vfx shots in nine minutes of film time, with Digital Sandbox contributing all the VFX. Allene Quincy and Nik Isbelle star with Quincy exec producing. Company wants to make '' into a full-length feature. Crew included Oscar nominees Randy Kerber as composer, Scott E. Anderson on VFX and Rick Kline, who's been nommed for 11 Oscars, as sound mixer.
