Zoheir, a young sailor working on a cargo ship heading to South Africa, finds out that his pregnant wife is missing during the war in Lebanon. He travels back to his homeland using different ships and boats. However, after the bombings, in order to save the newly born babies, his wife and a nurse have taken them out of the region in an ambulance. Now these two are searching to find each other in a war-ridden area; a search leading to the rebirth of love through the ashes and the dust...
