Successfull Virginian horse-trainer and irresistible womanizer Virgil marries stud farm owner Frank Hadley's naively devoted daughter. To avoid being discovered skimming to pay his gambling debts, Virgil ends up arranging for Frank's death in a car 'accident' and his daughter being jailed, then convinces her to sign a divorce to save the farm's reputation and remarries an equally gullible prey.
