A lone survivor in the not-too-distant future uses a machine to look back in time and see how his world came to be the way it is. The first story 'Limited Vision' follows a Doctor who is searching for a twin brother who has ruined his life. The second story 'Public Displays of Affection' follows a life-sucking alien who befriends a homeless girl.
