Video game obsessed nine-year-old Charlie is sent to spend the summer at his Uncle Steve’s countryside home, where he befriends Squeaky, an overlooked rat in his uncle’s struggling pet store. When a video of Squeaky unexpectedly goes viral, turning the rat into a social media star, the family’s fortunes begin to change. But their newfound hope is threatened when Squeaky is kidnapped by local bully Kevin.
