Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters: Yugi arrives to duel Rafael, who surprises him by telling him that he was an evil Pharoah and that Dartz wishes to save the world. Rafael tells Yugi of his past and how he was abandoned on a desert island, having only the Guardian cards as company. Rafael believes that his bond with his cards will help him unveil the Pharaoh as pure evil.
